Almost everyone who owns property generates “green waste”. This waste material from our gardens, lawns and yards, is sometimes composted by property owners on their property, for their own use. Sometimes, this waste is picked up or delivered to a drop-off facility for commercial composting. But most of the time, this waste is put into the garbage – where it will be hauled away and dumped in a large landfill. Burying green waste in landfills is a waste of valuable resources. Green Earth Technologies, as the first compost facility established specifically for green waste in Northwest Washington, wants to change that. Our state-of-the art compost facility is one of the very first in the nation to use GORE technology that will produce the highest quality compost with virtually no environmental impact. We convert this wasted resource into highly valued Grade A or AA compost. This product is used by commercial landscapers and individual gardeners to enhance their soil by restoring organic material. Engineers and Contractors also use this material for erosion control.

Green Earth Technologies Green Earth Technologies (GET) is the composting division of S&W Rock Products-a leading Whatcom County supplier of construction and landscape materials for more than 35 years. Green waste materials are brought to our site for composting either by individuals or by commercial recyclers. After this material is composted, it is sold through S&W as a Grade A or Grade AA approved compost. These are the highest quality levels of compost and are tested and approved by state and local health officials for use in gardens and yards.
